PhD candidate Asta Adukaite visiting schools in South Africa for WHACY!

PhD candidate Asta Adukaite from Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) at the moment is based in South Africa as a visiting scholar for one year at the University of Cape Town. She is conducting a study on tourism education at the South African high schools and the acceptance of gamified learning within tourism subject. She is visiting schools in Western and Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa where she interviews tourism teachers to better understand their experiences and challenges in using ICT for tourism teaching. She also runs workshops with students about UNESCO World Heritage Sites and eTourism as well as playing WHACY.
