UNESCO Chair in ICT to develop and promote sustainable tourism in World Heritage Sites

Earn Your Destination

Earn Your Destination is a cultural gamification project developed by the UNESCO Chair at Università della Svizzera italiana, in collaboration with Lugano Living Lab and supported by MyLugano.
It promotes sustainable urban tourism by encouraging locals and visitors to actively explore the city, turning attention and knowledge into meaningful rewards. In Lugano, culture isn’t consumed — it’s earned.

Università della Svizzera italiana offers a Master in International Tourism (MIT), run by the Faculty of Economics in collaboration with the Faculty of Communication Sciences. The USI UNESCO Chair is deeply involved in this Master, through teaching, research, internships and theses opportunities.
