Organized in collaboration with the Zayed University (United Arab Emirates), the University of Western Macedonia and the Institute of Economic Analysis & Entrepreneurship of the University of Macedonia (Greece), it explores both tangible and intangible cultural heritage across two historic cities – Thessaloniki and Kastoria – with a focus on Byzantine heritage.

ICTs and the Challenges of “Overtourism”: Exploring the Case of Machupicchu
Organized in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair in Anthropology of Health, Biosphere and Healing Systems of the University of Genoa, the UNESCO Chair on City, Landscape and Heritage of the University of Lima, the UNESCO Chair on Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Tourism of the University San Martin de Porres (Lima) and supported by the UNESCO office in Lima, the school offers a unique opportunity to explore the intricate dynamics between tourism, heritage and sustainability, and address them with the help of ICTs.
